IBE is a hand-tied weft extension method that is the first patented extension method in the industry.

With the IBE method, thin wefts of hair are sewn both above and below a row of silicone-lined beads. The end result is nearly undetectable hair extensions where the beads are completely hidden. Clients can finally wear their weft extensions in a top knot or high ponytail without potentially exposing their hair extensions.

A client with IBE will need to come to the salon every 6-8 weeks to have their extensions removed and reinstalled to prevent damage to the client’s natural hair. With proper home care, a new set of IBE wefts can be reused for 6-9 months.

We start with a thorough consultation before the appointment even begins. We will ask about your hair history, long term goals, and lifestyle to formulate a plan for both the upcoming service and for future appointments. At the in-person consultation, we will discuss length, required maintenance, and pricing.

Once the client decides they would like to move forward with the extension service, we’ll first schedule a color appointment if it is needed. If a color appointment is not needed, we will color match the client so that hair can be ordered.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking the installation appointment.

Before the installation, your stylist will perform any necessary prep work such as rooting or adding dimension to your extensions. This will ensure a seamless color match from day one.

On the day of your install appointment, please bring something to keep you occupied. While we love our clients and getting to visit with them during their appointments, a typical IBE installation can take anywhere from 3-5 hours and talking throughout the service can unintentionally add extra time to the appointment. By keeping the distractions to a minimum, we can ensure an efficient installation appointment and higher quality work.

Once the install is complete, your stylist will cut the extensions to blend into your natural hair so that no one will ever know you are wearing extensions.

If the client is 100% satisfied with their new hair, their stylist will go over the recommended home care protocol step-by-step, as well as provide a written copy of the home care instructions for the client to reference as needed.

Before leaving, your stylist will schedule your next maintenance appointment for 6 weeks from your installation. If at that first maintenance appointment, your stylist will be able to better determine whether you should continue to come in every six week or if you will be able to push your maintenance appointments out another couple of weeks.
